Welcome, Rotarians of District 7600 and friends! Let’s Create Hope together for the whole district

Service above self.

Because the mental health crisis affects everyone, District 7600 is Creating Hope by providing mental health and resilience education to Rotarians, families, and communities in District 7600.

As Rotarians, we seek to empower our communities and contribute to an environment where everyone has what they need to live full and happy lives. There is a mental health crisis, and it can feel overwhelming to know how to respond and build resilience within ourselves, and support our communities in doing the same. We are partnering with the Foundation for Family and Community Healing to address this by building our own personal awareness and learning how to share this with others.

Though mental wellness is an essential ingredient for vibrant families and communities, it is poorly taught in schools and workplaces. Therefore, the district is partnering, through Rotary District 7600’s Mental Health Task Force and Western Henrico Rotary Club, with the Foundation for Family and Community Healing (FFCH; HealingEdu.org) to bring resilience skill education to the district and the communities it serves. Rotarians can participate in several ways.

For individual

Rotarians are encouraged to develop their own resilience in mental, emotional, and relationship health to help them be healthier and less prone to mental illness. By combining knowledge with skill development, you can contribute to flourishing communities by starting with YOU.
